Following on from my previous post, these lovely fairy quilts made with the popular fairy panels were also made by Cynthia, and she chose a mustard gold coloured thread with a red backing fabric using the "petal pushers" design. I think they look lovely and Cynthias nieces are sure to love these quilts. The green fairy quilt was quilted with "fantasia" and a bright grass green thread. I also added the binding on these two quilts to the fronts of the quilts so all that needed to be done to complete was to hand sew the binding down on the reverse.         |

I quilted Sues gorgeous bright quilt with a bright pink thread which Sue suggested to match with the pink in the paisley border fabric. I had a close match which looked great against the rest of the quilt too. This is Sues first quilt I believe, and was a great first quilt to work with. I love the petal pusher design which Sue had chosen from a shortlist that she had decided that she liked from my website. The fabric in this quilt are very shabby chic, and I believe they are a range by Tanya Whelan. Sue had chosen 100% cotton wadding quilters dream which is an excellent wadding and drapes beautifully.     |

This quilt I believe is one of the first that my customer Heather has made, and she made a wonderful job of it too. She chose a duck egg blue thread which quilted out beautifully over the white. The design is "petal pushers" and looks great.   |
